Thank you for your interest in commissioning a piece of artwork from Toulmin Studio. Before we begin, please read through the process and requirements below.

Your Commission Idea

Please provide details about your commission, including:

  • Subject matter (pet, person, place, or other idea)

  • Any important details you would like included

  • Preferred colours, mood, or style preferences

Reference Images

To create the best possible artwork, I require a clear, high-quality reference image.

Please ensure:

  • The subject is clearly visible

  • Lighting is good and details are easy to see

  • The image shows the features you would like captured in the artwork

Multiple reference images can be helpful, particularly for pet commissions.

Artwork Sizes & Pricing

Commission pricing is based on artwork size:

A4 artwork — $400
A3 artwork — $600

Prices include the creation of the original artwork and careful packaging. Any additional requests or custom requirements may be discussed separately.

The Commission Process

  1. Discuss your idea and confirm artwork details.

  2. Approve the commission quote.

  3. An invoice will be issued.

  4. Artwork creation will begin once payment has been received.

  5. Your completed artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped.

Payment & Refund Policy

Payment is required before work begins.

Due to the personalised nature of commissioned artwork, refunds are not available once the invoice has been paid and artwork creation has commenced.

Please ensure you are happy with the artwork details, size, and requirements before payment.

Artwork Sharing

I may share completed commissions on my website, portfolio, and social media. If you would prefer your commissioned artwork not to be shared publicly, please let me know.
