Who is Toulmin Studio?

Hi, I'm Eve, the artist behind Toulmin Studio.

Originally from the Yorkshire Dales and now based in Fremantle, Western Australia. I create bold, colourful artworks that celebrate colour, character, curiosity.

Before focusing on painting, I spent nearly seven years working as an interior designer. That experience shaped the way I see art, not just as something to hang on a wall, but as something that transforms a space, tells a story and creates a feeling. It's a perspective that continues to influence every piece I paint.

Each artwork begins with curiosity, colour and a playful spirit. Whether it's a mischievous cat, silly dog, or a inquisitive native bird, my aim is to create pieces that feel full of personality and invite people to pause, smile and look a little closer.

Toulmin Studio is a growing collection of original artworks, with limited edition prints coming soon. As the studio grows, I'm looking forward to creating larger-scale works and eventually exploring my second passion—textiles.
